Individual volunteering is wonderful — a person contributing his/her time and skills to help a mission-based organization who needs that service.

But there is also something to be said about a team volunteering effort — especially when it is a group of student focusing on a project, contributing, responding, building, and working together. That is the kind of virtual work space we want to create — we want to make room for teamwork and collaboration. We believe that this is especially useful in brainstorming — something that many college student can contribute to and that many nonprofits need. It is time to bring in fresh innovative ideas in collaborative format, so that students can inspire each other to create something powerful, innovative, and meaningful.
